Albany-Berkeley Soccer Club (ABSC) offers the largest and most inclusive recreational soccer program in the East Bay. Founded in 1975, ABSC is a non-profit organization serving more than 1,500 players from 27 surrounding communities. As the leading club within the Albany Berkeley Soccer League (ABSL), we also partner with five affiliated clubs across the region.
Our recreational program supports players of all genders, ages 3.5 to 19, across Fall, Winter, Spring, and Summer seasons. We are committed to providing a positive, player-centered environment rooted in age-appropriate development.
Our curriculum is guided by the U.S. Soccer Federation’s Player Development Framework, incorporating best practices from experts in youth sport and childhood development. While recreational by nature, the focus is always on growth, fun, and building strong technical and teamwork foundations.
Our program is built on community, driven by volunteers, and supported by professional coaching resources.
