Albany-Berkeley Soccer Club (ABSC) is a non-profit organization proudly serving the East Bay community since 1975. As a member of the Albany-Berkeley Soccer League (ABSL) since 2013, we are committed to providing inclusive, high-quality soccer opportunities for youth ages 3.5 to 19. Our programs—both recreational and competitive—emphasize age-appropriate player development, injury prevention, and a lifelong love for the game.

ABSC is the oldest, largest, and most successful youth soccer club in the East Bay, welcoming families from more than 27 surrounding communities. Our membership reflects the rich cultural diversity of the region, and our player-centered approach supports development at every level.

Our Story & Philosophy

ABSC was founded by local soccer enthusiasts who wanted a place for their daughters to play. What started as a grassroots effort has grown into a vibrant club rooted in community, inclusion, and excellence.

We are proud partners of the Positive Coaching Alliance and adhere to all national standards for Youth Safety and Player Development. Our coaches are committed to fostering a supportive, challenging environment where young athletes thrive—on and off the field.
